This could be through fundraising, well-wishers and other individuals. Any earnings from various activities do not benefit individuals, but is put back to continue with the work being done. The contributions for this organizations are faced with less taxation rules due to their nature of work.

People who start them can be referred to as humanitarians. They work for the love of safety and comfort of people. Different groups that fall in this categories include religious bodies, schools and even hospitals. They offer services that are needed in the community and also support others that have the same goals. Below are some of services offered.

Education services at low costs to less fortunate children. They give training to these kids in computer skills. They enable them to be at per with the changing world of technology. In addition to this, they prepare workshops that are aimed to teach the unemployed on how to identify opportunities. With this mission, they better the lives of those involved and make them fit in a world which would not have accommodated them.

It is not unconventional for the nature to unleash its wrath on the earth. This is evident by the floods, hurricanes and tsunamis that have been experienced. In such an occurrence, many people are affected by these natural disasters. They therefore require assistance in obtaining shelters and food stuffs. The less fortunate like the homeless are also provides for with homes. These commodities are provided for by these nonprofit organizations such as the Red Cross.

The world is faced with many health issues that demand attention for instance cancer which is a worldwide menace. Institutions conduct research, especially hospitals to find a relief for these ailments. They also create awareness regarding the diseases. They provide medical camps to offer treatment to the disabled and those who cannot access the services.

As outlined earlier, churches or other religious establishment fall in this group of improving the social welfare. They are aimed to teach and ensure continuity of the specific religion they represent. Apart from this task, they can establish another body to offer assistance to the less fortunate. Their capital is obtained from the well-wishers and other donations. Their intention must not be political affiliated.

There are many institutions that are set to educate the regulars on various matters facing the community. They stand in to enlighten on certain issues like abuse on women and children and many others that affect the society at large. To be able to do this, the members disseminate information to all categories of individuals but the relief from givers.

From the above discussion, it is evident that they assist the government to reach out to citizens with various needs. The donations obtained are majorly to execute their work not individual gain.
